On the Little & Local Taste Tour, your personal local guide will lead you on a journey through two sustainable vineyards and a local food producer. It’s a fun, laid-back way to experience the real taste of Matakana—and it’s the kind of day you’ll be talking about long after it’s over!

Tour Highlights

• Discover the charm of the Matakana Coast, renowned for its boutique, award winning wines - from Chardonnay to Dolcetto. Crafted in small batches by passionate local growers, most vineyards here are sustainable, some organic, and nearly all hand-picked
  
  
• We've selected two boutique vineyards for this tour, where you'll enjoy a diverse range of varietals - from refined classics to bold, unconventional wines. No two vintages taste the same.... and the spectacular scenery along the way?  well, that's on the house!
  
  
• You'll be introduced to one of our local winemakers, who loves sharing his passion and knowledge with visitors                                                                                                
  
  
• We'll also stop at a local artisan chocolatier, where you'll sample award-winning handcrafted chocolates
